The Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences, Umaru Musa Yar’adua University, Katsina, wishes to invite you to its 1st UMYU Conference on Natural and Applied Sciences, July, 2025.

Theme: Harnessing Science, Innovation, and Technology for Sustainable National Development.

It is using this medium to encourage researchers, scholars, professionals, practitioners, and students to actively participate in disseminating their work through conference attendance and presentations.

• Conference date: 28^th - 31^st July, 2025
• Abstract submission: 20^th June – 20^th July, 2025 
• Mode of presentation: Hybrid (Physical & Virtual presentations)

Key Benefits:

• All accepted abstracts will be published in the conference's Book of Abstracts, which will be available in both print and online formats. 
• Additionally, each accepted abstract will be published individually online as part of the conference proceedings and indexed in Google Scholar, enabling proper citation and increasing authors' visibility. 
• Participants interested in publishing full-length articles will have the opportunity to do so in a special edition of the UMYU Scientifica Journal after assessment and acceptance. Authors will be entitled to a 50% discount of the actual publication fee in normal journal issues.
